Safety Guidelines

At Sugarmoon Collective, safety is of absolute importance. Our Daily Support Loungers are soft and snuggly by design, however, as with all baby loungers should NEVER be used as a sleep device. The Daily Support Lounger can be used as a place to actively engage with your baby during supervised lounging, resting or tummy time.

Please ensure that you have read and understood our safety guidelines listed below before using the Sugarmoon Daily Lounger:

- Direct supervision is required at all times when using the Sugarmoon Daily Support Lounger

- Under no circumstances should you leave baby in the Lounger unattended, regardless of their activity

- Be sure to check on your baby regularly

- Do not use the Baby Lounger in, or in place of a cot, bassinet, moses basket or other sleeping device

- Never use the Baby Lounger in an enclosed space

- Do not place the Baby Lounger next to a wall, or vertical or hard surface

- Do not use loose blankets with the Baby Lounger

- Do not place loose objects in the Baby Lounger, including pillow and toys

- Always place baby on their back in the Baby Lounger, with their feet touching the bottom of the Baby Lounger

- Only use the Baby Lounger on a flat, stable surface

- Keep the Baby Lounger away from any open flames

- If using our Baby Lounger Covers, ensure cover is securely attached and flattened before placing baby inside

Safe Sleep Guidelines

Sugarmoon Collective stands by the safe sleep practices outlines on the Red Nose Website. The safest place for a baby to sleep is on a clean, firm mattress in a bassinet or cot. For their safety, babies should be placed on their back to sleep with their head uncovered. Under no circumstances do we support or endorse using the Sugarmoon Daily Support Lounger for co-sleeping, overnight sleeping or any period of unsupervised sleep. For further information about how to keep your baby safe when sleeping, please refer to the Red Nose Guidelines on safe sleep practices.
